Michael brings a unique skillset in investment management including private asset markets, ETF capital markets workflows, quant finance and AI, blockchain and digitalization in the investment management industry. 23 years of investment experience, first as fund manager for PIMCO Real Return inflation-protected and inflation response portfolios including commodities, and also as EMEA team leader for PIMCO Europe ETF Capital Markets, he then moved to Luxembourg in 2022 to build out the Portfolio Management and exchange traded alternativ investment fund capital market structures at Royalton Partners, before launching his own company in 2023. Michael holds a Master’s degree from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, focused on financial maths, and a Doctorate Degree in mathematical statistics at the Humboldt University in Berlin, focussing on AI approaches to investment management. He is also a certificate in quantitative finance (CQF) designation holder.

Jean-Michel brings a distinctive skillset to Investment and Risk Management, spanning AIFMD and UCITS Regulatory Compliance, Data Protection, the Governance of Investment, including AI-driven processes for Illiquid Assets and Virtual Assets in Luxembourg. Over 15 years of experience in Asset Management, first as a senior escalation point on Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management across AIFMD and UCITS frameworks, with four years selecting, analysing, approving and monitoring investment proposals across Infrastructure and Private Debt representing approximately €1.2 billion in investor commitments, and leading the establishment of an AIFM from scratch, securing regulatory authorisation from the CSSF within 9 months in 2019. In 2022, he led the Risk Management modernisation supporting an AIFM's Virtual Assets licence extension for Cryptocurrency Index-Tracked products, while serving concurrently as Data Protection Officer. Since 2024, he has established the Risk and Compliance governance framework for a programme developing Vertical Small Language Models (SLMs) for Luxembourg's investment management sector, covering Model Risk, Operational Risk, and Regulatory Compliance under DORA and the EU AI Act. Jean-Michel holds a Master's degree in Risk Management specialising in Finance and Insurance, and completed advanced graduate studies in Finance specialising in Applied Mathematics, from CY Cergy Paris University. He is also a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) charterholder, certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

Holger Wasem is a Frankfurt-based mathematician, quantitative finance specialist, and AI engineer with over 25 years of experience spanning institutional asset management, investment banking, and applied artificial intelligence. He studied Mathematics and Physics at the University of Kaiserslautern, specialising in neural networks and evolutionary algorithms in the late 1990s, long before AI became an industry buzzword. Holger began his career as a quant analyst and system developer at Commerzbank, before moving into fund management at Deka Investment, where he developed quantitative models and managed portfolios with €1.6 billion in assets under management. He subsequently led structured products distribution for institutional clients across Germany and Austria at UBS Investment Bank as Executive Director, and held a senior structuring role at Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking. In 2010, he founded wiseadvice, where he serves as Managing Partner and CTO. As Head of AI, he leads the development of AgentraOS, a framework for deploying and maintaining audit-safe AI agents with a focus on explainability, reproducibility, and on-premise deployment for regulated financial institutions. He is also a Senior Advisor at The Good Guys Company (TGGC) in Zurich. Holger is a regular speaker and chair at international summits on AI and agentic systems, including the CV Summit, SFTA events, and Kinfos conferences.

David Ryder is a Luxembourg-based investment communications specialist with over 25 years of experience across institutional, wholesale, and retail financial markets. As founder of Prospero Media, he advises financial clients across Boston, Zurich, London, and Luxembourg on communications strategy, press relations, and marketing. David has held senior communications roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Schroders Personal Wealth, Fidelity Worldwide Investment, and Mercer, where he consistently delivered investment content programmes that drove measurable engagement across adviser and institutional audiences. Earlier in his career, he co-founded CreditWrap Ltd, a debt capital markets publication serving sovereign and corporate issuers across Europe and beyond. He holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and has passed CFA Level 1, providing a rigorous foundation in investment analysis that underpins his ability to communicate complex financial strategies with precision and clarity.

Noémie Schackmann is a Luxembourg-based compliance and investment funds advisor with a decade of experience spanning fund regulation, financial law, and alternative investment structures. She currently serves in a Compliance role at FundRisQ, a Luxembourg-based RegTech firm specialising in digital solutions for fund management operations, including PRIIPs and AIFMD requirements. Prior to FundRisQ, Noémie spent three years as a legal advisor at one of Luxembourg’s leading independent law firms, where she advised on investment funds and regulatory matters. She began her legal career with internships in the Investment Funds Department of a leading international law firm. Noémie holds an LLM in Financial Law and Financial Market Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She is fluent in English, Luxembourgish and German.

Tim Meyer has a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management. For over 20 years he has been working in the field of renewable energies, starting out as a wind energy project developer and then moving on to applying his experience in the context of development cooperation. In this function, Tim has played a key role in the development of wind and solar power projects in numerous developing and emerging economies such as Ethiopia and Chile. Having previously been employed by German development institutions GIZ and KfW, Tim has now been working as an independent consultant in the field since 2013. He has a strong focus on carrying out technical due diligences studies for wind power projects, leading for instance to the implementation of some of the first wind farms in Georgia and Serbia. Tim has an extensive network of experts available for feasibility studies and project due diligence in sustainable infrastructure.

Stéphane Ober is a Luxembourg-based investment fund and corporate lawyer with over two decades of experience at the intersection of law, finance, and entrepreneurship. As founding Partner of Ober Law Firm, he advises on the full spectrum of alternative investment fund structures, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, private debt, mezzanine, and Sharia'a-compliant funds, as well as corporate and M&A matters across European and cross-border jurisdictions. Stéphane has held senior roles at leading international law firms, including Country Head and Head of Asset Management Practice at Simmons & Simmons in Luxembourg, and Managing Partner of the Luxembourg desk at Loyens & Loeff in London. He began his career at Elvinger Hoss Prussen, one of Luxembourg's most prominent fund law practices. He holds an Advanced Management Programme from INSEAD, an LLM in International Transactions and Comparative Law from the University of San Francisco, and postgraduate degrees in European Law from the University of Nancy. Admitted to both the Paris and Luxembourg Bars, he is also a member of the Legal Committee of the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA).

Emilie Allaert is a Luxembourg-based digital assets strategist and blockchain pioneer with over a decade of experience at the intersection of emerging technology, financial regulation, and institutional adoption. She currently serves as Director of Product for Digital Assets at Standard Chartered in Luxembourg, and is the Founder and CEO of Digital Minds, an advisory firm specialising in innovation strategy, digital transformation, and board governance for financial institutions. A recognised architect of Luxembourg's blockchain ecosystem, Emilie served as Head of the Luxembourg Blockchain Lab, where she secured government funding, trained over 400 professionals, and grew the ecosystem from 20 to 70+ companies. She is also a member of the Scientific Committee at Fondation IDEA. Earlier in her career, Emilie held roles at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Alpha FMC, and KPMG Luxembourg, building deep expertise in fund operations, UCITS regulation, and financial services technology. She is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Luxembourg, teaching Digital Transformation and Fintech, and is a regular speaker at international AI and blockchain conferences, including as a TEDx speaker. She holds a Master of Arts in Financial Management from Durham University Business School, a Bachelor of Sciences in Economics and Management from the University of Luxembourg, the Oxford Digital Assets Certification Programme (Saïd Business School), and the INSEAD Aspiring Directors Programme.

Alex oversees the corporate governance of multiple private equity and venture capital funds and vehicles, with a focus on Luxembourg-domiciled, innovative, and sustainability-focused impact mandates (SFDR 8 & 9). With over 17 years of experience in the investment industry, Alex has a deep understanding of the legal, regulatory, and operational aspects of fund management, as well as the strategic and financial drivers of value creation and social impact. He acts as a bridge from the fund sponsor to the fund administration, and culturally from Luxembourg to the rest of the world. Active investor and advisor in emerging markets, leveraging his experience in private credit and venture capital, where he focuses his network, expertise, and passion to support entrepreneurs and businesses that address the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Prof. Jurczenko is the main advisor on the set-up of an AI-driven private asset portfolio and risk management system. Director of finance programs (Grande Ecole program, MSc, and Ph.D. programs in Finance) and professor of finance at EDHEC Business School for more than four years. He was Michael’s professor of finance at the ESCP’s Masters Program. His research areas are quantitative investing and asset pricing, with a strong interest in issues related to risk and factor-based investing, climate and sustainability investing, and private markets. He is also associate editor of the Journal of Systematic Investing, an academic journal dedicated to systematic investing. He has published several articles and books on the use of machine learning for asset management, a field in which he has recognised expertise. He is the founder and co-organizer of the private markets research annual conference in partnership with University of Lausanne, University of Paris Dauphine and Tilburg University.

Kaveh consults LEIW on its strategic positioning of technology as a key business driver. He has some 20 years of experience in the financial services industry at renowned institutions such as PIMCO and Allianz Global Investors, where he most recently worked in the global technology management team as Head of EMEA, leading transformative technology and digital strategies to drive business growth and performance and spearheaded numerous transformative regulatory programs with implementations across regulatory regimes such as MiFID II, ESMA Liquidity Risk, EMIR, SFTR and others. He also managed the global ESG technology team including the SFDR reporting efforts, a key input factor to LEIW. As such, Kaveh is a key consultant to LEIW in building out the ultramodern portfolio management system geared to private debt markets with multi-DLT capabilities and capital markets facilities. He holds a BA in Law from the University of California in Irvine, and an MBA from ESMT in Berlin, Germany.
